How Much Do You Like The Switch Pokémon Games?

From 1 to 10 how would you rate all the current main series Switch Pokémon games?

LGPE = 1
SwSh = 8
BDSP = 7
PLA = 6
SV = 9
PLZA = 4

LGPE is my least favourite because of the dumb Pokémon Go mechanics. Won’t even touch it.

SwSh was the first good Pokémon game on the switch but I feel SV has surpassed it.

BDSP, despite its flaws, is still a decent game. So much I would change or add tho.

PLA is a decent game and currently my favourite of the Legends series. PLZA was really disappointing for many reasons so I hope future Pokémon games improve.

Never played LGPE, Swsh I prefer over SV, PLA was amazing, PLZA could have had more effort, and BDSP could have also had more effort.

I feel like Swsh looks better over SV, except for the Wild Area which is kinda dull. Story wise SV is way better than SwSh. Shiny hunting there are some differences. I used to hate the picnic method for breeding in SV but I’ve gotten so used to it to the point that I might prefer it. Other than that swsh doesn’t have an actual shiny method besides the dumb aura boost. Since SV has over world shinys it’s a lot easier to shiny hunt and on top of that it has shiny boost with sandwiches which makes hunting shinys SUPER EASY. At that point it’s best to hunt for shinys with marks in SV.

Playing both PLA and PLZA I GREATLY prefer PLA. The gameplay is way better and interesting and the quests are more fun. PLZA was just really grindy and repetitive and got worse with the DLC. Tbf PLZA is about battling and I don’t like battling very much in Pokémon games. I like collecting which is why I probably liked PLA more. Also PLA has bias because it’s Sinnoh themed.

BDSP definitely could have had more effort done. I truly believe the game was rushed because it was developed at the last minute. If it had more time it could’ve been so much better. At least it got patched up over time but it sucks some mechanics are inferior to other Pokémon games or ever the original Diamond and Pearl. Even then I do think they are, to some extent, better than DPPt but they missed out on being the best it could be and that will forever bother me.
