Nuzlocke Challenge thread

Due to intensive reasons, the Nuzlocke challenge was agreed to be made into a new thread by Aquil and your's truly.
Tired of the other challenges? Not hard enough? Feel like pokemon is too easy? SO I HEARD YOU LIEK MUDKIPZ? If any of these apply then I, Smeel! Keeper of the Holy handgrenade, protector of bacon, and slayer of the mammoth, bring you the Nuzlocke challenge!

The Rules:
There are only three main rules, and those are:
1. Catch the first Pokemon you encounter in each route/cave/whatever and nothing else. If you fail to catch it, too bad, continue onwards.
2. If you Pokemon faints, consider it dead and release it.
3. You must nickname all pokemon you catch, therefore allowing a bond to be made.
You are encouraged to show us progress via Illustrations, stories, or plain simple updates.(Because most of us are lazy XD)

You forgot to mention the part about nicknaming all of the Pokémon you get, so you have even more of a bond with them.

Ah, I remember Nuzlocking through Red version about a year back. Definitely the most fun Nuzlocke I ever did.

Good times... Maybe I'll do another. My challenge in LeafGreen is nearly done after all.
