Sonic is definitely cooler. I've never really loved Mario all that much.

Chaze ruined sonic for me, besides that I have always loved mario games as a kid and never really got into the sonic franchise itself.

I love Sonic but think Mario is a boss so I can't decide.

Sonic has better story lines in my opinion, but Mario is a classic.
