Poliwager is turning 16 years old! Back in 2008 on November 27, Poliwager was started as a small site where I shared Pokémon video game tips. Over time, I added the Poliwager Forums (which you're looking at right now!), and the Poliwager Adoptables (which has been super fun to make new features for!). Over the years, we've had fun conversations, done a few events, gathered together as a community during Community Weekends, and just had a fun time together! In the last year, a new area on Poliwager Adoptables was discovered, the Politoed Pond, and there have been many more smaller updates! I have many more things planned for this upcoming year as well! I want to thank you all so much for being here, sharing the site with each other, and being awesome. Thank you!
Enjoy a screenshot from 2010 of the main website!
Please share your favorite memories of the site, friends you've made along the way, Poliwager Adoptables things you've enjoyed, and whatever else you want to share!
Last but not least, let's party, shall we? It's a birthday party, after all!

Still funny when I first heard of the site, I thought nothing of it. I joined to see what’s the deal and then became inactive for a few months.
Never would I have thought that years later I would become one of the most active members on the site and have contributed so much to it, all because I missed out on getting Spikey-Eared Pichu lol.
I’m excited to see how much will change in the future and what else I’ll be able to contribute. Thanks to everyone in the community for being awesome and making Poliwager an amazing place.
